Help us pay tribute to Grateful Dead legend Bob Weir on what would've been his 79th birthday at Eda's Hide-a-Way... Friday, Oct. 16!! Featuring former members of Ton Of Hay playing nothing but Bobby tunes spanning his decades with the Dead and including some seldom-played solo material as well.

Nordmoe & The Rodeo -  known for delivering a mix of what they describe as "the saddest and silliest country tunes a pair of boots can scoot to". Their sets cater heavily to traditional country dance styles like the two-step and the waltz. 

The Two Tracks are an Americana band from Sheridan, Wyoming, known for their rich vocal harmonies, driving cello, and roots-forward songwriting. Fronted by husband-and-wife duo Dave and Julie Huebner, with Taylor Phillips on bass and Fernando Serna on drums, the band blends folk, rock, and bluegrass into a sound that feels both expansive and deeply grounded in the landscapes of the American West.

Pierce Edens is an independent musician and singer-songwriter from Western North Carolina. He is best known for his powerful vocals and haunting, fiery music that captivates listening rooms and excites dance floors in equal measure. Edens has shared the stage with notables such as the Wood Brothers, Robert Earl Keen, Steve Earl, Southern Culture on the Skids, and Hayes Carl. With well over five million streams on multiple platforms and pockets of loyal fans across the nation, audiences continue to indulge in the hard-edged folk sound he creates alongside his long-time bandmate Kevin Reese. Sitting side-by-side on stage, the musical duo take their audience on a well-crafted journey. Built song-by-song, the room becomes an experiential fortress filled with Edens’ signature vibrato, an unusually soulful, waverly tenor that conveys each song’s emotional depth. He mingles this with potent, guttural hurls that burst from him in pops and crackles. In addition to singing, Edens plays rhythm guitar and kick drum, employing a stripped-down, less-is-more approach to percussion reminiscent of the White Stripes. Reese accompanies Edens with lead guitar and mandolin, completing the duo’s sound that is both intimate and gritty, atmospheric and raw.

As their name suggests, MONSTER WAVE plays exactly that: an eerie instrumental surf-rock sound that could be the soundtrack for a haunted tiki bar. They have go-go grooves, melodic guitars and a rhythmic beat that will get you twistin' and stompin' into the night! According to Ox-Fanzine, its "as if Dick Dale were setting a few episodes of The Munsters to music". So grab your favorite ghoul and get ready to dance, because remember: sitting still is forbidden! The Gypsy River Band is a Burnsville, NC-based group bringing a laid-back, soulful mix of music spanning several decades. With a sound that draws from artists like Jackson Browne, the Allman Brothers, the Eagles, and John Mayer, the band blends classic rock, roots, and singer-songwriter influences into a set that keeps things familiar, fresh, and fun. The band features Robert Bryant (lead guitar, vocals), Nick Rash (vocals, rhythm guitar), Billy Sprouse (piano, guitar, vocals), Craig Robinson (drums, vocals), and Faron Silvers (bass, vocals), with Shane Mickey handling sound. Whether settling into a groove or turning it up a notch, The Gypsy River Band is all about good songs, good musicianship, and a good time.

Tina and Her Pony is an Asheville, NC based indie folk band that features the songwriting of front woman Tina Collins.  The band comprises a rotating roster of Tina's greatest friends and fiercest collaborators.  They are known for good times, a smooth country-folk sound, and sincerity.  With 5 albums under her belt, Tina & Her Pony has been releasing music for over a decade now.  The most recent release, "Marigolds" is so transcendent that an instrumental-only version was also released to accompany it.  Every song is an honest offering of beauty.

Adrian Bundy, founder and frontman for Adrian Bundy & His Honky Tonk Hearts based out of Johnson City, Tennessee, is a real deal honky-tonk crooner dripping with influences of Johnny Paycheck, Merle Haggard, George Jones, Ray Price, Johnny Bush, George Strait, Gary Stewart, Dale Watson and many others responsible for country music’s unparalleled popularity from the 1950s-1990s. With Adrian on stage, you can expect a good honky-tonkin’ time, but be ready to shed a tear when he delivers a heartfelt ballad.

Adrian has performed at the Nashville Palace, The Troubadour, Robert's Western World and Honky Tonk Tuesdays at Legion Post 82 in Nashville; the renowned Bristol Rhythm and Roots Reunion festival; Dollywood; Gruene Hall in New Braunfels, Texas; The Broken Spoke and The Continental Club in Austin, Texas; Chandelier Ballroom in Houston; and with legendary Texas honky-tonker Dale Watson in Washington, D.C.

Adrian also plays the lead role of an up and coming country music singer in the critically-acclaimed short film "Neon Shadows" that premiered at Film Fest Knox at the Regal Riviera in Knoxville in November of 2023.

“The sound of Alma Russ is less an attempt at impersonation, and more an amalgam of many great singers of country and roots interwoven into an original approach…”- Trigger, Saving Country Music. 

Alma lives in Mill Spring, NC, when she’s not on the road. Her sound is a mix of country gold, Appalachian tradition, and Americana soul. 

As a child, she fell in love with classic country when she saw The Country Bear Jamboree at Disney World. She became interested in Appalachian culture and music, started learning historic Scotch-Irish murder ballads, and took up fiddle at 12. Banjo and guitar followed, and then she made friends with a hobo who taught her to write songs, so that's what she keeps doing.
