WILLIE
What more can we say? Beloved global icon, star of stage & screen, activist/organizer, man of a million jokes (and joints), but first & foremost: a singer/songwriter of hundreds of songs, several of which have landed in the Great American Songbook, and a formidable guitarist with an instantly recognizable sound & style all his own. Recently named by both readers and critics in the New York Times' lists of greatest living songwriters.
Join us for our very own Willie Nelson 4th of July picnic at Eda's Hide-a-Way! All-star local band includes Phil Alley (Heavenly Vipers) on guitar, Claude Coleman Jr (Ween) on drums, Morgan Geer (Drunken Prayer) on bass, Kate Leigh Bryant (Cactus Kate & the Pricks) on fiddle, John McKinney (JLAD) on keyboards, and Scott Murray (CyndiLou & the Want To) on guitar & steel. Special guest singers include Cynthia Galli, Hunter Begley, Jim Hampton, Joe Shelton, Liliana Hudgens, Mark Mac and more.
Music starts at 6pm to accommodate fireworks watching, but we may just "stay all night, stay a little longer" to cover all the great Willie tunes we can!

Rooted in the mountains of Western North Carolina, The Resonant Rogues are fronted by songwriting duo Sparrow and Keith Josiah Smith, who share a passion for movement and sound. In addition to their holler homestead, New Orleans and Nashville are their other musical homes, and the influences of both can be felt on The Resonant Rogues self-titled fourth album. Super fun laid-back old timey bar with a ping pong table, a pool table, strong drinks and shuffleboard. The bartender here is really nice and showed us how to play shuffleboard.

This is my kind of dive bar. Drinks priced nice, chill vibe, pool table, lite bites and an outside view that can't be beat. Great service too! They have a bunch of cool events I hope to check out one day.

This place is a treasure!! The staff are sweet, funny, smart and good looking and the spirits are absolutely sublime. They have real Florida style shuffleboard, ping-pong, pool and live music some nights. A great time out for those looking for something more than the breweries offer.
